The Gettysburg and Chambersburg communities lie on opposite sides of the South Mountain in the Susquehanna and Cumberland Valleys next to Michaux State Forest in south central PA. Adams and Franklin counties both boast excellent school systems, higher education institutions and wonderful academic, cultural, and family events all year long. Gettysburg is home to the expansive Civil War National Battlefield and Eisenhower National Historic site. Adventure is nearby with camping, biking, kayaking, and hiking on the hundreds of trails (including the Appalachian Trail). Salary is negotiable, based on collections.
